What Heat Pump Installation Involves
Heat pump installation is the process of sizing, selecting, and setting up equipment that provides both heating and cooling from a single system, rather than running separate units for each season. It's a route many Alta Sierra, CA homeowners take when they want to streamline their comfort setup or retire an aging furnace-and-AC pairing in favor of one efficient piece of equipment. Before any install work begins, we take a full look at your home's layout and current ductwork to figure out whether a ducted or ductless setup is the better match.
Why The Details Matter Here
Get the sizing or system type wrong and you're looking at uneven temperatures room to room and energy bills that run higher than they should. Ductwork that wasn't designed with heat pump airflow in mind can also drag down performance if that mismatch isn't caught and corrected up front. More often than not, an underperforming new system traces back to a rushed estimate that skipped a real load calculation.
